Matlock Angling Club Cawdor Ponds

Cawdor Ponds consist of two ponds located in Cawdor Quarry. The ponds are a mixed fishery that fishes well throughout all seasons of the year with plenty of accessible pegs.

For safety reasons juniors must be accompanied by an adult member at all times whilst fishing Cawdor Ponds.

In the interests of the fish, wildlife and environment the fishery is closed during March of each year . There is plenty of parking available within 50 yards of the pond - disabled anglers can park next to the pond (please contact the Club Secretary to seek parking permission).

Tactics: Pole and waggler will see plenty of action with the normal carp methods accounting for the larger fish.

This page will be updated with more images and information when available.
